Principles and Practice of Engineering (PE) Exam Registration

Eligibility

You would be eligible to enter the Practice of Engineering (PE) exam when:

  • You have obtained your engineering degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program
  • You have passed the FE exam
  • You have gained four years of acceptable engineering experience

If your program is not accredited from ABET, you can ask NCEES to perform the credentials evaluation service. For more details about the credentials evaluation, click here.

Registration process

1. Register with AUC

2. Register with NCEES

  • Register for your desired exam type (choose your discipline) and location (choose AUC from the list)
  • ​​​​​​​Log in/create an account at NCEES here

3. Payment of Fees

  • NCEES exam to be paid directly to NCEES using your credit card
  • AUC administrative fees are EGP 5,500, payable directly to AUC by cash, credit card or a certified check
