The program is made of four courses targeting various areas of cybersecurity including introductory topics for candidates with limited knowledge of the field, penetration testing, secure software development, and security operations and monitoring. Interested candidates can take any subset of the four courses and obtain a certificate of attendance for the courses they took. Candidates who take all four courses will get an additional certificate that they attended the whole program.

Course Offerings:

  • First Semester (November, December):
  1. Introduction to Cybersecurity: Kickstart your journey with the basics! Learn essential security terminology, and explore cryptography, digital signatures, hash functions, and network security challenges.
  2. Web Security and Penetration Testing: For those eager to delve into ethical hacking! Master web application security, client-server attacks like SQL injections, and defensive mechanisms with hands-on lab work.
  • Upcoming Courses in the Second Semester (February, March):
  1. Secure Software Development Lifecycle and DevSecOps: Explore the integration of security into software engineering from start to finish and secure deployment practices.
  2. Security Operations and Monitoring: Understand the inner workings of a Security Operations Center (SoC), including how data is collected, processed, and analyzed to detect and handle threats.


Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for this certificate, candidates must hold a bachelor's degree or higher in one of the following disciplines:

  • Computer Science
  • Computer Engineering
  • Electronics Engineering
  • Communications Engineering

Selection will be merit-based, and candidates who are selected will be contacted once the process is finished.
