WEF Technologies Diploma Students Field Visits to El-Galala Desalination Plant and Oasis Community Center (OCC)

Water Energy and Foot Technologies (WEF) diploma students had two field visits as a part of their learning journey through the diploma that was organized by the Metito team.

Students went to El-Galala desalination plant where they learned about Reverse Osmosis (RO) desalination technology and what it takes to manage a commercial size desalination plant.

The students then went to Oasis Community Center - OCC  where they got to learn about the different types of solar energy systems. The visit also inspired them to brainstorm project ideas for the sustainable energy resources course.
