Training for employment in Electronics Sector
The American University in Cairo (AUC), in collaboration with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), announces the launch of a world-class training program in electronics with the main objective of preparing graduates from Egypt in the following majors: communication and electronics engineering, computer engineering, mechatronics engineering, faculty of computer and information sciences, computer science, and biomedical engineering; to be employed in the electronics sector in the largest international electronics companies and to increase their competitiveness in the job market under the supervision of Yehea Ismail, professor and chair of the Department of Electronics and Communications Engineering and one of the world’s top scientists in the field of electronics.

The program targets university students graduating in 2023 and 2024 and graduates from 2018 until now in all governorates of Egypt, in addition to providing the necessary basics through a preparatory module to overcome obstacles and provide equal opportunities for all students. The training includes two tracks as follows:
- Analog and RF IC Design Track
- Digital IC Design Track
The trainee should select his/her desired track upon registration. The program is based on practical training through similar projects that imitate the latest developments in the industry with the latest tools and equipped laboratories, which is conducted by top university professors and industry experts from all over the world in order to prepare trainees to keep up with the job market requirements.

If the student passes the qualification test, the training period will be shorter.
Important Note: In case the student has applied to multiple institutions and is accepted by more than one of the authorized institutions for training in the field of electronics under the Ministry of Communications at the same time, such as The American University in Cairo, National Telecommunication Institute (NTI) or Information Technology Institute (ITI), the student must select only one institution to join.
