About the Computer Science and Engineering Department
Whether you dream of developing groundbreaking software, designing innovative hardware, or solving complex computational problems, our programs offers a comprehensive and cutting-edge curriculum to help you achieve your goals.
As Egypt moves towards open markets, the demand for computer experts with training beyond the BSc basic education by newly created and existing technological projects is growing and is certain to rise in the future. Following a careful and detailed feasibility study, the program leading to the MSc degree in computer science started in 1995. The computer science graduate program offers students the opportunity to engage in coursework, research projects, and other activities designed to further enhance the student’s knowledge and skills in many areas of the rapidly changing discipline of computer science.
Our senior projects over the past three years have been co-supervised by:
- Microsoft
- Siemens
- Careem
- IBM
- DELL
- University of Alberta Faculty
- University of Waterloo Faculty
- NYU Faculty
