Programs

We provide high-quality engineering education within a liberal arts context to students from Egypt and other countries. The aim is to prepare generations of engineers to excel as leaders in their professions. The pursuit of excellence is central to the department’s mission, maintaining the highest standards of academic achievement, professional behavior and ethical conduct.

The employers of our graduates are asked to give their evaluations for recent AUC graduates as well as more senior employees. This survey was conducted in 2017 and 2020. Results were tabulated and analyzed. A total of 50 professional companies were contacted and 20 companies responded by returning a completed survey form. The results indicate that the performance of our alumni, related to all of the program’s current educational objectives and student outcomes, are rated above average (higher
than 3 on a scale from 1 to 5) from a “performance” point of view. Among those, the alumni are rated to have excellent performance (between 4 and 5 out of 5) in more than 75% of the student outcomes. All of the Program’s current educational objectives and student outcomes are rated above average from the point of view of “importance”.
